Some products that you can use in place of Body Scrub by hand would be Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner Step 1 or ScratchX. Both of these product are effective by hand.Shane Lariba

Both are not as strong as Body Scrub, right? What do you have that is stronger and can be used by hand? Fine Cut Cleaner?Comment

ScratchX and Deep Crystal Step 1 are very similar to Body Scrub, and can be very effective by hand. There isn't much of a difference when working by hand. If you are looking for something a step up from Body Scrub, use M80 Speed Glaze or M0916 Swirl Remover 2.0.Shane Lariba

DC1 is body scrub. The only chage i think is the strenth but maybe not... to my experence the product smell look and act the same....Comment

Nope... Body Scrub was stronger. It contained an chemical that Meguiars could no longer use. So, they stopped making it.Originally posted by hawaiibrad

Since Body Scrub was a chemical cleaner, it would seem that a more direct replacement would be DC1 or #2 (I only have the really old pre-VOC #2, but it's quite chemically), rather than ScratchX or #80, which are more abrasive than chemical in action, I believe.
Just my 2 cents, Shane is obviously the expert.Comment

I have used A-10 Body Scrub and #9 on the same truck and #9 removed more water marks and scratches than A-10. Now granted Body Scrub had more agressive abrasives in it but the DC1 general and ScratchX spot. Should produce proly better results....
I was not trying to say that there was no differnece between A-10 Body Scrub and A-30 Deep Crystal... Just not a major one that i noticed, that i would jump up and down saying that A-10 would be a next step product to A30 when actuly there so simmial that you would proly not beable to tell a whole lot(next step product like the differenc between #2 and #9) of difference if you did a side by side.Comment
