  • Back order problems

    My last order had two items backordered. One I received last week and the other today. Todays was a single Water Magnet Towel that came in showing a total bill of near $22.00! Nine bucks for the towel but FIVE in sales tax (which is a little excessive even for the great state of California). Nearly eight bucks for shipping with an invoice weight over seven pounds yet a package weight of two.

    I think on any future orders I'm going to have to request no back orders if there's any place to state this in the E-store.

    What appears to have happened is the tax, shipping and handling for the entire order is showing on the invoice for the first package. There should be no additional charges on the remaining shipment of your order.

    Please check you invoice and confirm this. If there is any question, contact us when the remainder of your order arrives.

      Wow...thanks for the prompt reply. The invoice I received today (white copy) shows the charges I mentioned....hence my dismay. I guess I won't know the real tally until my card statement arrives. I'll have to check, but I think the item (#83) I received last week also had the same additions to the product price.

        Tom is correct. It is simply a misprint. Those are totals of tax & shipping for the enitre order not just that item. You are not charged anymore than the original amount. Your credit card statement will reflect the correct total. There is no extra charge to you when an item is back ordered. We are aware of this issue with our invoices and it is being fixed. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
