Advise on G100

Hi,
I have finally decided on picking up a G100 from ADS. The promotion package #1.
I am not sure if the backing plate is 5" or 6" and if it also includes a counter weight.
Will I need any thing else for the G100 itself.
Coming to the pads, which ones should I get? To give you a better idea at what I am trying to rectify:



I have got some DC#1 and #2, SSR 1,2 and GC Wax. Will this suffice or do I need to get some other stuff too?

For pads you want at least 2-3 of the W-8006 foam polishing pads for removing swirls, you'll only need one for this car, but if you want to continue polishing more cars it's nice to have a few on hand, so while you're ordering and paying for shipping, might as well get a couple extra.

You'll want at least one W-9006 foam finishing pads, (very soft), for applying your LSP.


If you want to remove your LSP using the dual action polisher then you'll want a dedicated pad just for this and our stiffer maroon cutting pad works very well for this, part number W-7006, plus a couple of microfiber bonnets.

Gold Class is a great wax, but while you're ordering you might want to include the ADS sample bottle of M21 to play with.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the fast reply. So say I do get #21, can I then apply GC over it? maybe multiple coats?
And does the G100 come with a counter weight?

My G-100 came with a counterwieght.

you might also think about a set of 4" pads.

So was it a 5" or 6" counter weight? Yeah I too would like to get some 4" pads and back plate but maybe sometime later as I am pretty tight on funds right now
