  • Does anyone else have problems with orders they get?

    First of all, this isn't really a complaint, but more of an FYI for Meguiar's and a question to others.

    Everytime I have made an order directly to Meguiar's, when I get it, there is something wrong. I half feel like they are going to blacklist me or something because of all the issues I have had I have ordered directly from them 3 times and literally everytime there has been an issue:

    1) First order, the gallon of Last Touch was half open, resulting in half the bottle being in the box. A new gallon was sent.

    2) An on/off pour spout leaked, a new one was sent.

    3) A sprayer was leaking for my bottle of Hyper Dressing, I called and they said a new one would go out. I get the box today, and what is inside, not a sprayer, but a bottle of the consumer QD I called and explained the issue, and supposedly a new sprayer is again being sent.

    Don't get me wrong, the CSR's have been helpful and courteous and corrected the problem (well this last ordeal kind of remains to be seen ), but is anyone else having as many issues as I am? It just seems weird everytime I order I have a problem

        Boy, what an ordeal this is becoming After calling again, I got a sprayer and it still leaks, I guess it is the bottle, but I called and a new bottle and sprayer are being sent. Much to my surprise when I checked my bank account tonight, I got charged! I called and apparently the shipping charge wasn't cancelled out for the replacement. I also explained my situation, and the CSR told me they do breathe (sprayers) a little, but none of my others leak a drop... although he said it shouldn't leak like mine is.

        The situation has been very frustrating, but the CSR's have been very friendly and helpful. Hopefully after a month it will be solved... at least I hope so!

            Thanks Mike. The customer service has been great and everyone has been very courteous and helpful. It's great to get this kind of customer service, and one yet another reason I continue to use and recommend Meguiar's!

              I'm sorry to hear about the problems you are having. At least CS is working with you.

              I have to put in a good word for Meguiars. I have ordered from them multiple times, and I do not recall once that there was something wrong with my mail order.

              I had a large bottel of QD once that had a short tube inside, with the result that about 1/3 of the QD was still left in the bottle when it stopped spraying. I called CS and described my problem, and they had no issues sending me a new bottel, which had a longer tube.

              Another time, I wanted to add something to my order after the fact, to save on shipping, and the agent had no problem to ship it free, since it was a little too late to add it to my order.

              In all, Meguiars has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. And it very gratifying to speak with local agents, not some "lowest bidder" off-shore company's employees who couldn't care less about my problems.

                Meg's Customer Service has been great to me!!

                The Quick Wax I bought at a local store leaked half of it's contents into the bag I bought them in. We'll when I contacted the local store, they stated there was nothing they could do, since I could have damaged it in transport. When I called Meg's to file a complaint about 1 of there Dealers, they happily sent me a bottle.

                4 EC Applicators fell a part in the wash - They replaced them

                Even if Meg's wasn't the best product out there (I know it is)....

                There customer service alone would keep me as a customer!
                Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..

                  Well I got my new bottle and sprayer yesterday and they don't leak!

                  However, I may need to call tomorrow as the shipping I got charged a week ago still hasn't been credited back to my account. Once I get that done, it will be case closed
