problem with duster

has anyone else had some trouble with the megs body duster? i've noticed that mine will leave little oranges streaks of matter behind my path. i keep my paint with a fresh coat of wax to keep it slick in order to make the duster effective. anyone else? this is kind of irritating.

At the SEMA Show, our 5-man team used the dusters in the Ford booth virtually non-stop. While we did see some orange fuzz on our clothes, the 47 or so vehicles we maintained did not have any noticeable orange residue covering them.

Most of the fuzz came from either shaking the mops (to shed any loose fibers, dust, or carpet particulate), or rubbing against them while walking from vehicle to vehicle (We were wearing black). Our dusters were brand new when we started.

I'm guessing I used my duster 600-700 times. Granted, the cars we were wiping were indoors... But, overall, I was impressed with the performance of the lil' guy!

Was the surface of the vehicle hot? I remember someone MOL mentioning that they should be used on a cool surface. The hot surface can I guess melt the paraffin treatment.

I have alot of orange fuzz but no streaking whatsoever.But the car is always cool when cleaned.

the surface was cool to the touch. also i wasn't really getting streaking i would just notice in the body cracks mostly the orange fuzz. I'll have to try it out again on a very cool surface and see whats up. thanks for the responses guys!
