The ideal sequence is Ultimate Compound, followed by Ultimate Polish, followed by Ultimate Wax. This works for most people for light to medium correction, but you may, of course, do things however you like and still get results acceptable to you. Why don't you call the Meguiar's help line, the number is on the bottles. They have trained product specialists that can advise you what their chemists had in mind when they developed the Ultimate line and give you some excellent tips on what techniques work best with the products you have. Best of luck!
