Sheepskin Chamois: Still relevant?

Just wondering who still uses a Sheepskin chamois to dry their car in a world of technology and synthetic materials?

I use one with good results...however there may be better or more absorbant man-made equivalent?!

I just picked up two of these last fall but haven't had a chance to try them out yet.
