Some members use APC or APC+ and then wash them out in the sink. I have about 6 I need to clean tonight myself.

After you are finished with your applicator pad how do you clean it off the left over product?
Anthony, an even better method to use would be to clean your pad(s) "on the fly" rather than waiting until you've finished. Obviously you're going to have to clean your pad when you're done, but by removing residue as you go you'll reduce the final cleaning necessary. There's a thread here somewhere:

I think that could help me out in the long run. And i guess i'll just clean them off at the end with soap and water.

I just cleaned mine (including a couple that I missed cleaning back in Oct) with Tide laundry detergent, then after working the soap through the pads by hand and a heavy stream of water from a garden hose...they came completely clean.

Thought I'd share another tip an experienced detailer told me about cleaning pads. I've used a brush up to this point and just read the link about using a cloth and plan to try that. I've found that brushes can damage the pad if used with too much pressure and/or too often. It's only foam, right?
The tip is, if available, use compressed air. I tried it and it really does get dried residue out of the pad better than using a brush. I guess with a cloth it would help if the pad or cloth is damp?
