  • Which pad and cloth ?

    Hi,

I am new to waxing at home and also new to Meg products. So please help me out here.

    I plan to use the cleaner wax liquid for my daily driver (2005 Tucson). Paint is in reasonable good condition. I am also on a tight budget. So;

    1. Should I use a foam or a microfiber pad ?

    2. Wipe off with supreme shine mf towel or soft buff terry towel ?

By the way, I am also getting the mf wash mitt.

    Tks to all !!

Re: Which pad and cloth ?

    Welcome to MOL Manj!

    I'll answer in order:

1.) It's preference really, but most (myself included) prefer the Meguiar's foam Softbuf pads. They are very safe and don't scratch the paint, or absorb too much product.

2.) This again is preference, but I find the supreme shine to REALLY rock at removing product (wax, polish, whatever). If I had to choose, I would go with the Supreme Shine.

    3.) Have fun!!!!

    Take care,

    Mark

      1. By hand, I think you would want the Hi-Tec foam applicator pad.... though I dont see it listed in the e-store?

      Is it still made?

I think it is still made. Just received some in my last order from ads.

I would apply with a Hi-tech foam applicator

I would remove with a Supreme Shine microfiber.

        hello and welcome to mol.
