i think i got a razor scratch from the guy installing my tint, i found out the next day when i got home, i tried to used scratchx and turtlewax rubbing compound and now my paint all along the scratch line is discolored, did i buff the rubbing compound in too hard? did it remove the clear coat, thats why it discoloring, im really worried should i take it to a body shop or can a detailer buff it out? The color looks really dull and white from the rest of the car which is a black color i'll try to post a photo as soon as i can but any recommendations would be helpful.

I think you went to far.
Looks like you removed in that section all of the clear coat and base coat (or some of it).

Let's see what others have to say, but either way stop rubbing that section.

its the front right A-pillar of the car, what is strange is that it looks like its getting bigger but im not doing anything to it? i need to see a body shop asap?
