  • Temporary hose repair

I had a water hose develope a hole that was spraying about 15 feet high. Every time I moved the hose it kept wetting the the car I was trying to finish. I didn't have a repair kit but I did have a big zip tie. I simply put the zip tie around the hose at the leaking spot and no more water spout. Quick and easy. It still dribbles a little but it has stopped about 95% of the water leaking from that spot.

It was a pinch that caused the ensuing water fountain. The hose was twisted and got caught under the front tire as I was heading to the far side of the car. I pulled the hose to hard. Oops

I have a similar problem and will give it a try. Thanks for the idea.
