  • Here Is A Little Trick I've Learn

In 2003 I "had" a 2003 Chevy Corvette Z06, But the storms of 2004 to her away from me.

But while I had her, I attended a few cars shows and won my share of trophies.. One thing that the judges took note of.. and I still use till this day when cleaning our jeep. Is ArmorAll Tire Foam. But not just on the tires.

Systematically I would jack each side of the Commander up, remove each tire (one at a time), carefully placing a block as to prevent rolling, Clean the rims and tires and while the tires are off the jeep. I would take the tire foam and spray the wheel wells.

Allow them to soak while I clean each rim and tire. By the time I'm ready to reinstall the tire.. The tire foam has loosen any dirt and residue from inside and around the wheel well. and I just simply wipe off with a rag and re-coat for the next cleaning.

Not only is this like a one shot deal.. but if you continue to coat the wheel wells in this manor, Most anything and everything flung off the tires into the wheel well, will simply roll off or repel.

Good tip, one I picked up somewhereoranother a while back. Keeps me on the lookout for whatever tire foam is on sale cheap. AA, No Touch, Turtle..... find 'em on sale at Big Lots and the like and stock up especially for use in the wells.

True.. But one may need to scrub the first few times.. but after the initial scrubbing.. then spray afterward.. it will be easier to maintain. Can't wait until a nice day to explore the 07 Commander we just purchased.

I'm not saying Meguiar's doesn't have something similar to the tire foam or maybe they do and I have yet to discover it.

great So does it have the same "power" dissolving action as the armorall foam?.. just spray on and walk away?.. or do you need to wipe of the excess?..

I haven't tried Meguiars tire foam, but detailers here in Norway swear by Chemical Guys' BareBones

Have you tried something to the effect "orange glow" or lemon glow" I think it comes in a a yellow spray can. A little more work, but.....
