when removing wax use to MFs. one heavly misted with quick detalier will be used for first wipe and surface breakage. the second lightly misted with quick detailer for final wax removal and polishing. i know microfiber isnt supposed to scratch but as much dirt and dust as it picks up (not to mention dryed wax) it doesnt hurt anything. i did a split on my hood and you could see a VERY slight difference. it was very subtle but there was a difference. why wipe with a dry surface. i also mist my wax pads when i first start to allow them so time to absorb some wax. just my two cents
