Two of the best things I have used for cleaning a car:
1) I use 000 Steel Wool and some foaming cleaner such as Power Clean window cleaner. It gets rid of those run marks and wiper lines created over time. By very gently rubbing the steel wool with the foaming cleanser on the window it works miracles. Wipe clean with a Microfiber and your all set. Dealers use it all the time when cars are being prepped for delivery and they have been sitting on the lot.
2) And SOS or Brillo pad with a bit of water does wonders for White tires, i.e. white lettering or whitewalls. A gentle scrub with this will get all of those contaminants and dirt out and make that white lettering gleam. You can also try some Smiple Green, but it takes a bit more scrubbing. It is a better alternative than buying those whitewall cleaning kits too.
