ScratchX 2.0 on new paint

    ScratchX 2.0 on new paint

    How long do I need to let acrylic paint cure for before I can apply ScratchX 2.0? The original paint has lots of swirls & scratches that I want to remove & yesterday I applied touch up paint to a heap of deep scratches & stone chips. Wet sanding the repaired areas will be done tomorrow with 1000 & 2500 grit. I don't want to undo all my paint touch up work when the ScratchX 2.0 gets on the new paint.

    Thanks in advance for any advice.
    1987 VN Commodore Executive. Some engine work, 3.8lt V6, 3spd Auto. Original paint & interior. Alpine head unit with Sony Splits, 6x9's, 500w amp + 1000w sub. Lowering & chrome mags still to come.

    The ScratchX wont ruin it, it is safe for new paint.

    But try not to rub too hard, dont want to pull the paint back out of the chip.
