Have some rock chips, need some help

Hey guys I know I have not been on in a while but I have been busy, I have been hanging out with this amazing girl and have been spending all my time with her but anyways , My mach1 has a few rock chips that are way noticable, I bought balck UA paint from the Ford dealer so it will match instead of getting paint made from a auto paint store. I know I have to remove whatever wax that is in the area but what brush size would you guys recommend on filling chips in the paint?

The question has been raised recently, and a lot of guys recommended using a paper matchstick.

Have any pictures? It depends on the size and shape.

Is it solid black paint, or metallic?

It is solid Black non metallic. I will have pics up in the morning for it, I have a few so I will get a pic of each to show you guys the shape and size. thanks for the help guys.

Huge blessing. That is one of the easiest colors to hide touch-up work on if done right.

I'll check back when I see the pics.

Here is one pic, It is zoomed out but I was looking for some close ups but I think I deleted them, I will take more tommrow. the two boxes I drew are the most noticable but I have three more on the passenger side, but I am going to take pics but this is all I can find for now.

If you want to use an actual brush, go to a Artist Supply store or a Crafts Supply store and purchase a fine tipped paint brush. You can get very fine tipped paint brushes for under $10.00

Also pick up a baby bottle of paint thinner to clear you new brush as they should have this too.

Thanks Mike, I have a michals near me so I can get a brush, and the paint thinner. I have to take more pics of the other chips.

I've got a black CL 550 scheduled for early next week for similar chips. I will try and document the repair and let you know what did, and didn't work for me.

That would be cool Mark, I got some bigger chips in the Neon and I would like to fix them as well.

I have LARGE paint chips on the hood of my Porsche from a piece of a tree root that flew off a truck in front of me on the highway.

I'm very interested in seeing your results.

Today after work I am going to go to my local art and crafts store to buy a brush and do the chip repair monday.
