    is outside temp important when color sanding

    i think that might be enough info on what i ned to know. but here is some more. '95 stang re-painted in sept. i am gettin ready to color sand and i dont think i can get my garage up to,say, 65 degrees. will there be a problem with doin the color sanding if the air temp is around 40 or possibly a bit lower? the car is goin into a heated shop to be polished and buff, but i am doin the color sanding myself.

    Besides being uncomfortable cold temps shouldn't affect the actual sanding of the paint.

    If your water supply starts to freeze on the car then that will be a problem.



    Definitely the job would be more fun if the temp was warmer.
