    @seth:
    It's not any guy, he is known for his skills and also works in detailing section.

    All I can say is, I removed 100% of the sanding marks. You can speculate if I'm telling the truth, but otherwise you can get a piece of painted plate and try it for yourself.

    Work in small sections, use a hard pad and a mid-strong polish (#83 is allready ok for 2500) and work the polish carefully and slowly in till in brakes.

      I'm not disputing your veracity and have agreed that you can take out 2500 sanding marks with two passes of a DA polisher on soft paint. However, I haven't seen the posts you mention (but haven't linked), so I can't form an opinion on what he has had success with; to quote Mike Phillips, "An experienced person with the right products can use a DA Polisher to remove scratches sometimes on some paints, but not all the time on all paints."

        I know that I have been told how some paints will respond well because they are soft while others will not respond at all becuase of how hard the paint is. This had been told to me by several experts on this forum who have worked on many different cars.

          It is written in German, but pictures show the results.
          You will agree when I say VW paintworks are hard, won't you?

            If my tranlation software is correct, the poster writes: "What do we have here? The upper edge of a tail fairing of a Golf 4." I believe this is a non-metal piece of body work (plastic) that forms the bumper and has the much softer paint as discussed earlier.
