  • Best way to use sanding blocks?

Any suggestions for using Meguiar's Unigrit Sanding Blocks on rock chip repair? Do I use them wet or dry? After many, many years of using just sandpaper, I thought that I'd give these a try. At almost $18 a "pop" I would like them to last for a while.

The 1st Thing You Want To Do Is On The End Of Each Block Etch With A Awl The # Grit The Block Is Expl. # 2 For 2000, #15 For 1500 After Time And Use The Blocks Lose The # On Them And You Can Get Them Mixed Up.
I Keep Mine In A Plastic Container With Water To Keep Them Saturated.
The Blocks Are Designed For Above The Surface Defects Such As Runs And Sags In The Paint. When I Am Touching Up A Chip I Prep Area With 2000 Paper 1st Than Build Up The Chip Letting It Dry Between Coats. After I Get The Touch Up Above The Surface Around The Chip And Allow Plenty Of Time For It To Dry I Than Level The Touch Up With A Sanding Block And Buff. Good Luck
