  • Practice mini van

My boss is out of town and asked if I could detail her minivan. Oh yay, my favorite vehicle. I knew all she would notice was the interior as she didn't care about this big scar on the bumper. So I gave it a quick colorx nxt treatment on the outside , made sure I did a thorough cleaning on the interior and then practiced with the rotary and some sand paper on this very forgiving color. I feel more confident in the cutting power of both. 2000 grit was still pretty gentle as was 83 on a wool pad. It's not fixed by any stretch but I did learn alot and wanted to share.

    Added touch up paint

Wetsanded with 2000 and then rotary and 83 and wool. I was trying to get the small scratches not the gouges.

Looks good. You really couldn't do too much better what what you had to start with.

    Keep up the practice!
