    is it possible to use scratch x after wetsanding
    to remove the marks then polish it with #70 by hand
    i do not want to go out and buy a polisher for a small
    rock chip thanks

    Yes, if the paint is soft enough.

    Touch-up paint is usually very soft and you can easily rub the scratches out of this, its the scratches in the clear coat around the touch up paint that people often instill while sanding the blob of touch-up paint that are going to be difficult/impossible to remove by hand with ScratchX.

    It can be done, we've wet-sanded with 1500 grit Nikken finishing papers and then remove the sanding marks by hand at our classes while people watch, talk about pressure.
