I would like to get a diminishing compound between 105 and 205, but not sure what to go with? Im going to go with 7.5 CCS pads, but should I go with LC wool pad or meguiars light cutting wool pad?

Re: Help me decide which pads and compound for my new makita
Are you just looking for something that offers cut between the two, or are you looking for something to use as an intermediate step between them?

Re: Help me decide which pads and compound for my new makita
I have Makita and I have the same sized backing plate that came with it. I use LCC pads as well. What was recommended to me over at Auto Geek was Orange x2, White x2, Red x1, and Black x1 as a starter. I am not at the point of needing wool. Plus the kit came with some to play with.
I have used Orange with M105 on a severly swirled GM Hatch (Light Pewter Met) and managed to get it 90-95% correct and followed up with M205 with the White and was pleased with results but I got more practicing to do.
