Definitely this machine has some cool advantages:
- super light, only 5.5 lbs.
- powerful motor 1400 W
- advanced cooling system
- super quiet operation (can listen to the music while running rotary
buffer
- great speed range 600-2100 rpm.
I guess the only thing we have to wait for is THE PRICE.

I'm guessing it will be near the $200 price point, similar to Makita and DeWalt. FWIW, I picked up a two month old Makita on Craigslist this weekend for 75% off retail price. I'm happy.

Can't go wrong with Makita. I love my 9227. But this 5.5 lbs and super quiet operation are really tempting.

My guess is that this will be closer to $300, which is a lot to pay for a rotary. It looks sweet though. They mistimed the release. Think about the Christmas possibilities.

It's Mike Phillip's new favorite rotary tool.

I was expecting the price to be closer to 3401 VRG (around $300) but $379 is quite high. That's the same like two Makitas 9227 or the whole package from Amazon listed by Mike Stoops above.
