  • Double Sided Wool vs Hook and Loop

I'm moving up from some SM Arnold Tuffer Buffer pads I bought at Harbor Frieght/Fright.

How does a Double-Sided Wool Pad stick to my velcro plate? I have single sided velcro backing plates at the moment and am wondering if I need to do anything special to use the double sided pads.

The Edge Adapter is for the snap on Edge pads and won't work with the W5000 wool pad. While this pad would essentially just thread onto the stud of the rotary that the backing plate threads onto, it would be very close to the tool itself. What you want is an extension like this one that threads onto the stud on the rotary and then into the threaded hole in the W5000 pad itself.

If you're at the TNOG tomorrow, Mike, we'll show you in person how it works.
