  • Makita 9227c WOW GREAT PRICE

    hey guys,

I thought I would share this with every one. I ordered a Makita 9227c from toolking.com. It was a factory reconditioned with full Makita warrenty and a 30 day toolking.com warrenty. It was 129.99 plus shipping. It should be here on the 30th.

Makita makes great tools. That price looks like a good deal, you have to expect that in todays day and age, when a company reconditions a product, they do it right the first time. (Actually it's the second time).

    Here's the exact link,

      rotary

      Hey everyone,

Today I finally had a chance to try out my new ( to me) makita 9227c. All I can say is WOW this machine is a dream to use. I was being a little cautious with my speeds. I used DACP on a 8006 polishing pad set to a speed of about 1200 rpm's. I then followed that up with Speed Glaze also on a 8006 polishing pad at the same rpm as DACP. i only did this on the hood, roof, and trunck lid. I then followed Meg's and Mike Phillip's advice and followed the rotary with my PC with Speed Glaze set to 4.5 over the entire car. This was my first ever use of the rotary and I have learned a few things, like products break down much quicker than with the pc, and to try and install the pads as close to centered on the pad as possible to help keep the tool balanced.

How "like new" was it? Congrats on getting it! Take your time and learn the tool and it will pay you back.
