Pad size?

Im getting ready to order the ADS dewalt rotary (ive been using the same one at work for years and love it, just decided it was time to get my own and do some stuff on the side lol) and im not sure if the backing plate that comes with it will work for 7 inch soft buff 2.0 pads? Im hoping to be able to use my DA pads for the rotary (which are 7 inch pads)
