I'm looking for the best wool pad for use with D151 when in a high volume situation, i.e. used car lots.

Just keep in mind that if you are doing 1-step correction with a wool pad avoiding holograms is going to be incredibly difficult. You will need to find a good balance between strength and something that can still leave a quality finish. If you use something like the Double Sided wool pad you run the risk of creating the need for 1-2 more follow-up steps.

I haven't had an issue with holograms with my W4000 pad.

The W5000 pad has enough cut to remove just about every defect, but the finish is not great. Then again, it is a wool pad meant to knock out severe defects.

My suggestion would be to use the W7207 cutting pad. While it doesn't have the cut of a wool pad, it can remove bad defects, while leaving a better finish than a wool pad.
