backing plate for makita

I have 6" purple and yellow pads from meg already, but now that I am waiting for my new makita to show in the mail I wanted to order the correct backing plate.. if someone can help me out that would be great.

forgot model is 9227cx3

I'll highly recommend Meg's 'new' rotary bp... W66... I have 1 for my Makita and 2-3 spares... best I've ever used by far!

Lake country has a 6.5" purple foamed wool pad which doesn't have as much cutting ability as some of the wool pads around but is a great pad nonetheless.. it's completely replaced my LC yellow, orange and Meg's 7006 pads

that lake country pad is more cutting action then megs purple w7006?

my goal is to get a backing plate and not have to change all the time if i had to buy a wool pad that only came 8".
