  • which products to use

Hello all, im a new member here, ive been reading some real good infomation, however im still a little confused on which products to buy and use. Heres what I have, a 99 saturn sl2, i just recently bought it at a dealership, the paint isnt bad at all, however thats from 10 feet away, when you get up close there is all kinds of swirl marks, and scratches, looks like it was taken to the carwhash alot, the scratches are not deep, the color of the car is plum purple if that matters.
Now since Ive begun reading the forums I went and purchased the porter cable polisher, I got a good deal on the pads also, here is what I have

orange pad, yellow, white, black pads, these are made by lake country, im almost all set, but not sure what products to use ,80, 83 or what and which order and the steps that go with it, if someone could point me in the right direction.

Sorry for the late reply, it's hard to be here 24 hours a day but we do try.

You want to get some M80 Speed Glaze and use it with the Yellow LC pad, don't use the orange cutting pad, too often it hazes the paint.

Also, are these flat pads or do they have shapes to them, like the Variable Contact pad. You want flat pads, they work best.

Get the M80 Speed Glaze and read through this and start where the M80 Step begins.

Using the G-100 to remove swirls with the Professional Line

After you've buffed out the entire car with the yellow pad and the M80, apply your choice of wax with the black foam pad, this is like our W-9006 pad.
