I've only used my rotary with the strong stuff; #84 and occasionally #83. I'm thinking about using it with some #82 on my 1.5 year old/20000 mi white Subaru, which has developed some swirling over that period. The choice is between using the G-100 or the rotary, and the function is time.
If I use the rotary and #82/polishing pad, will I still need to remove buffer trail with the D/A?
It the time saved by using the rotary in this instance (a well cared for, near-new car with minor swirling) more than the time used taping up trim and tires and windows?
It's going to be a beautiful day here, low to mid 70s and low humidity!
