  • Is this Orbital buffer OK?

Remember WEN? We've been providing reliable power tools since 1951. Shop woodworking, generators, lawn and garden, drill presses, lathes, and more. Store includes deals on planers, air filtration systems, chucks, hydraulic cylinders, benchtop power, construction equipment, and replacement parts for sale.

I received this buffer for christmas & plan to use it, but I noticed that the rpm is rated 5200!? does this matter, is that only when it is free wheeling? or should I save it for something else & purchase a slower one?

The link says that it's rated @ 5200 OPM's, that's orbits per minute, it's not the same as RPM's.

These buffers are good for applying and removing wax or a pure polish, buck lack the power for paint defect removal.
