Well, I wanted to do a hand applied coat of NXT on it as the LSP but by the time I did all the other stuff I was whooped. So, I took the easy way out and applied th NXT liquid by PC. I might throw a hand applied coat on it Sunday night at work if things are slow.

I do have some pics and am getting ready to upload them to the other computer to see how they turned out. By the time I got everything done I lost sunlight here at the house so I had to drive around to find a decent spot. I finally found one and hope they turned out well.

I took a few more today but had no sun. I took the Boys up to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and took some pics of the truck sitting in front of the U.S. Captol Bldg. Hope they are keepers.

Man, This white is hard to get good pics of in the sun. I thought I had decent reflection shots in every pic but in most the brightness of the white almost seems to drown out the reflections. I wonder if I should just try some night shots instead.

Very nice Jeff..... Yeah I hear you with taking reflectino shtos with white.... The key is to wait till sunset, but not so late that it gets dark... YOu have like a 30 minute window... lol.... ALso, take te pics of the side of the truck thats in the shade, not the sun. Looks great, I remember the first time I used a rotary, what a great feeling... The only dumb thing was that I tried 83 with a cutting pad! lol talk about sling..... hahahahaha

That was one thing I was lucky on. no sling. I did have a few drops of minor splatter on the windsheild but most were pinhead sized specs here and there.

Yeah, this was close to sunset. A few of them were at the house but the sun was in the trees.

Well, today I took it one step further just for the heck of it. I applied a coat of NXT paste with the PC. This was my first time applying paste by machine. I removed with a GC Bonnet.

I have to say I kind of liked the way it went. I guess the thicker consistancy gives one the impression that he is doing something a little above and beyond what one is used to when it comes to workng with the liquids.

I used a plastic putty knife to scrape it out of the can. I temp of the NXT was a little cool so it seemed a little flaky to me. Probaby would have gone alot smoother had it been a warmer day or I warmed to can up a little. I have one of these little coffee cup warmers here and next time I might warm the product up a bit.

But overall, the application went well. I wanted to knock this out because I must have 6-7 cans of Meguiar's paste waxes I have not touched since buying the PC. As far as looks, I can't say it looks any better or worse than a liquid application. It looks great but looks great when I apply a liquid as well.
