Speeds for certain tasks on G100

What speed is recommended to start out with when removing swirls on the G100? And which pad to use? Should I use the polishing pad or finishing pad and what's the difference? tia

Should help out.

I use the Finishing pad with waxes and pure polishes.... and the Polishing pad for cleaners/cleaner polishes.

What product would you use between #9 swirl remover or the #80 speed glaze to remove fine swirls? I don't want to use a too aggressive product tomarrow, but then again I don't want it to take all day and not be aggressive enough.
