Is there some kind of clip out there that would secure a DA power chord to an extension chord so they don't come unplugged?

you can always just tie the cords together in a granny knot..

They have existed for years. Back in the dawn of time when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I used those to clip an extension cord to the power strip I used for my DJ equipment (had the sound go down during a show, so learned a painful lesson).

Never had any problems with power going out after that.
