  • Which Product With DA Power Yellow Pad

I'm going to be using the DA Power system for the first time on my Sonata. I'm going to use the yellow pad with an AIO wax. I have the matron bottle cleaner wax and Black wax to choose from. Which one will give me the most correction?

Using a DA with a cleaner wax, do I still let the product dry before removing or remove as I do each section?

    Thanks guys.

Out of those two, black wax. I'm on my phone so I can't post the photo from another thread that shows the comparison between A12 (maroon bottle), white wax and black wax.

You can use a cleaner wax as if you were using a compound.

I did the Black Wax on the yellow pad. The car came out great and I don't think I'm working by hand again unless I have to. Lol I'm going to try the same technique with White Wax next time in a few months to get a little more correction. The DA Power pads are just the right size for me, it didn't take too long to do the whole car.

You can do either, depending on what you're trying to achieve.

If you're using the cleaner wax as a true one-step, you would let it haze before removing, to get the maximum protection from the wax/sealant component of the product.

If you're using it for its corrective abilities and intend to top it with a dedicated wax/sealant, then you would just work a section and remove immediately whilst still wet.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

I did let it dry to a haze, but I got some good correction out of it. Far better than when I tried it by hand a couple of months ago. One more question here about the product itself.

Does Black Wax contain fillers? It doesn’t seem so in what I’ve read here but I would like to know if some of the swirls will start to show through again after a few rainy days or car washes? Or did it actually correct the imperfections?

          Thanks guys!

Meguiar's Black Wax & White Wax do not contain any fillers, they both utilize our Super Micro Abrasive Technology which work to remove below surface defects. Below is a great image which highlights the difference in design of these products.

You can greatly lessen the chance of inflicting swirl marks by using the proper products, accessories, and techniques during washing. More information on our washing recommendations can be referenced in our Washing 101 How To Article.
