I have been so disappointed in the megs G220v2 with all the problems I have had with it and I am thinking of try the Das6 pro polisher. They do seem to be more robust. Any thoughts ?

Re: G220 v2 polisher
What problems have you had with it?
They are both good machines - The 220V2 has a better reputation IME.Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Re: G220 v2 polisher
Hey Davey. I've used the G220 polisher for around 10 hours only but it is out out warranty I'm from the UK it rains here most the time so have not used it for the last 6 months. When I did get it out to use the speed control was all over the place. Erratic speed or no power at all. Sent it back to Meguiar's Uk only to be told they will not test it as the plug looked damaged. So replaced the plug and sent it back again only to be told because I had messed with it Meguiar's won't help. Fuming but what can I do.

Wow, that sounds pretty bad. I hope they sort it out for you.
Have you looked at a Rupes or Flex for a replacement?Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. Not yet no. I've just received the polisher back today so I can now start to have a look at brushes, lead and the speed control wheel which I believe to be the problem. Can't believe there is no parts back up for this machine.
