  • G110v2 vs LHR21ES

Is the Rupes LHR21ES that much faster than the Meguiars G110v2? Anyone compare the two?

I am thinking about selling my G110v2 and getting a LHR21ES, if I will be able to detail a car 25% faster it will be worth it.

Also can I use the LHR21ES to apply wax with a finishing pad?

Not faster just has a much larger throw. I believe g110 v2 is 8 or 10 mm and the rupes 21 is obviously 21. I wouldn't use that machine to apply wax either, just out of preference of not putting those hours into the machine

I have both, the Rupes is a more agressive machine. If you can afford both, that would be better so that you can choose which one best for the job you are doing. I like the G110V@ also because you can run different size backing plates and pads.

Both would b nice to have, but if ur concerned with not being able to use it for waxing as the rest of us I'm sure have one use ur old wax spreader. I think we all start off with a buffer and work up to the polisher.
