You could, although it is a polishing pad. Conventionally, people polish after compounding. If this pad combo gives you the amount of correction you seek then great! In my case, when I needed to remove swirls from my paint, I had to use ultimate compound with a more aggressive, orange cutting pad. I found that the ultimate compound finished so nicely I could skip the polishing step altogether and go right to my sealant.
