Starting to work over a '97 Dodge truck. It is covered with surface scratches from washing, neglect etc. Scratch X is taking out the serious stuff with enough effort. # 83 is cleaning up the lighter problems well. The completed panels are glossed and deep. I've had good results with #7 before and I intend to use that next. To seal the #7's effect, it sounds like #21 will lock it in and give the finish durability. I'll probably top it off with #26. Do you think i will get adherance from all steps? I am using a 7424 at this forum's recommended speeds.

    TWW,
    Check this thread out: http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/sho...&threadid=5848

It provides recommendations on what to do after #7.

If you mean, will the waxes bond over the polished areas?

Check out this thread in the Hot Topics forum in the Information Station Forum

A question on wax bonding and the potential for interference by a quick detailer?

Meguiar's waxes are formulated to be compatible with all our compounds, paint cleaners, cleaner/polishes and pure polishes.

      Wax away!
