  • New G110v2 and need help with backing plate

    Hello MOL,

I'm opening my new G110v2 and my BP has some plastic in the screw part:

It's that normal? or I need to remove it?.

I don't know, that is where the washer should sit. I might be asking Megs for a new one if I were you.

That or try to remove the plastic build up if you can. The washer should sit flat against the backing plate.

Just cut off the excess plastic using a sharp blade.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

I did cut the excess to avoid angle plate.

              Thanks for the answers

We have to say this is a new one on us; we've never seen this phenomenon before. If you've trimmed that excess and installed the washer and everything is working fine to your satisfaction we don't anticipate there being any issues. We are still happy to replace this backing plate if you'd prefer though, just so you know.

Thanks Michael, I trimmed and installed the BP and seems to be ok, I will use the polisher the next week, if I have some problem will let you know.
