There's nothing wrong with the pads it's your technique. Turn the speed down. Turn machine on and off while the pad is touching the paint. It has nothing to do with the velcro.

I just bought one last week have no problems at all but I did not need to go above 4.I really would not know if I have technique or not just followed my gut but the Velcro was solid.

          I agree with Mario!

          1. Prime your pads
          2. Clean your pads often with either cleaning on the fly or pad washer (if applicable)
          3. Switching your pads is not a bad thing if you have others to use.
          4. Always turn the polisher on and off with the pad flat against the paint. If not you will cause splatter of product and your pad maybe come a UFO!
