  • Problems with Meguia's G110 and regular generators

I have tried to use my G110 with regular generators and it does not work, it does not change the speed , if I start the G110 on speed 1 it barely moves, but if I start it on speed 6 it goes fast but when I tried to change to a lower speed it does not change. This problem doesn't happen when I plug it to a wall outlet or a inverted generator, I have tried this with 3 or 4 regular generators and same thing always happen.

What's the rating of the generators? Are you using too long and too light of an extension cord? Have you flipped the switch on the generator to make it run on fast idle - full speed, rather than slow idle and it accelerates when you switch on the buffer?

I actually have the same problem with a husky 3750 watt gen. Its not a power problem because the gen will run my extractor with dual vacs and heater no problem
