  • G110v2 problems

    First beautiful day of the year, get all 3 family cars washed and ready to wax and clean up. Pull my polisher out of its bag, and it's not turning on.

    Tried multiple plugs, and nothing. It worked when I put it away in the fall.

    Help??

    Check the brushes in the side ports? Make sure both ports are screwed in properly.

          Yup, mine took a dump the other day too. It was my second one. Got half my boat polished up and it died. It's 5 years old so I'm guessing any warranty is expired.

              My original G110 quit working halfway through a detail job. I let it sit for a hour then tried again. It would start and I was able to finish that job, but toward the end I would need to shake the buffer with the switch on before it would start. I called Meguiar's Customer Service and they told me to send it to Irvine, CA, no questions asked. I received a new G110V2 via UPS. In fact I received two new units because they had sent one to the wrong address, but caught the mistake, re-routed that one, but sent another one also. I need to call them Monday and square that away.
