  • Replacement Handle

    Hi all,

My G110V2 died on me the other day. I realized the copper wire inside the strain relief had failed and I set off to replace it. I did so but by doing so I applied some extra pressure to the handle. Inside the handle there are 2 little bumps that make contact with the DA when screwed on. These bumps help the handle stay in place and allow it to adjust to different positions, now my handle just rotates freely and is virtually useless. Anyway I can get a replacement handle somewhere?

My DA is less than a year old, I believe it was still under warranty - but I bet i voided it when I fixed the wire myself. I really had no choice - I needed my DA.

    Thanks

    Sincerely,
    Jeff

Yeah if you're talking the two circular access ports on each side of the G110 V2 those are there for us to replace the brushes. The G110V2 comes with 2 additional ones for replacement. Good luck with the handle situation.

That's what I'm talking about with the brushes. Didn't know if you were talking about those brushes in regards to fixing the wire yourself.

By all means, please contact our Customer Care Center at 800.347.5700 about this if you haven't already done so. They have some handles on hand (no pun intended) for just this sort of problem.
