  • Question on reusing DA pads

What happens if I use a pad with ultimate polish and don't wash it? If I do a panel do I need to wash it? Can I cause damage if I don't clean the pad after a couple of panels??

You mean like put it away for a long period unwashed, and then go to use it again (months) later?

I wouldn't. The polish will dry up and could cause problems later..

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Polish is a light product so leaving it on your pad should cause major problems.
      But I wouldn't.
At least wipe it off while it's running and spray a detailer spray on it, and then brush it. This is known as "cleaning on the fly" this is how you'd clean it between panels or just to get the bulk of the product off of it. If your going to store the pad then I'd defiantly clean it.
Pads aren't cheap so if you ruin it because you didn't want to clean it would be a waste of money.

Sounds like the OP was asking about cleaning the pad on the fly, or giving the pads a quik brushing in between when moving from panel to panel.
With the microfiber pads, it's important to clean on the fly/ fluff up the fibers in between panels

Obviously it's a very bad idea to putaway a used DA pad without washing out the compounds
