  • DA polisher & #6

I have read many threads that explain how to use a da polisher with cleaner polish such as #83 and #80. Work in small areas, work polish until translucent but not dry, wipe off and inspect. ( I think that is correct). I was wondering if cleaner wax's like #6 are applied the same way, or should they be applied differantly? I suspect that since #6 is not a cleaner polish it should be applied differantly, but not sure how it should be applied. Any help would be greatly appreciated. One last thing, the pads I have are the W8006's.
    Thanks

    bluemoon,

Yeah, I would apply the #6 differently. Simply lay the product on as if you were apply a wax with a PC. The cleaners in #6 plus the additional aggressiveness of the pad will supply the cleaning power. You should be able to use the polishing pad or the finishing pad for this product.

As a matter of fact, now that I think of it...... check this out:
