  • G110v2 short in power cord

I know that this is an ongoing issue with the model; the power cord has a short somewhere near the base. I have contacted Meg's customer support and will be shipping it to them for repair.

Is there anyway to prevent this from happening again? Any tricks than keep a watchful eye on the cord twisting?

With the new improved power cord it shouldn't be an issue any more.

The only buffers we currently have on hand are the newest production run, so your replacement buffer will have the issue completely resolved and you should have no further cord problems. Our apologies for the issue with your current buffer.

Thanks Mike. I didn't mean to sound dissatisfied with it. Quite the opposite in fact, I love that machine. It's a small problem and though I know absolutely nothing when it comes to electrical issues; I thought it best to send it off to the pros than tinker with it myself (and knowing my luck possible electrocution).
