Hi I have the original PC 7424 and would like to use the microfiber system. My questions is can the original 7424 handle the 6" microfiber system? or do I need to buy the 5" kit? I read some where that the 6" kit needs a forced rotaion or something like that. Reason is I lost my 5" pad CW and cant seem to find where to buy it. Thanks for your help in advance.

You definitely want to stick with the 5" microfiber kit on the 7424. Use our W67DA backing plate and don't worry about the counterweight. You won't notice a difference between the two counterweights. There was a discussion on this very topic of counterweight differences many years ago and the general consensus was that nobody could tell which was which and couldn't really understand the point of having two different parts.Michael Stoops
