ok, i've been using the twins for a few years now( actually, i use all megs products when it comes to detailing. love em!). i try to keep it simple and use lake country pads with the 205. i get very good results with that combo. what i'm wondering is if there would be a noticable difference if i switched to a finer polishing pad?

Re: m205 and pad selection
Specifically, what pad(s) have you been using with M205? You can get a surprising amount of cut out of M205 when coupled with a polishing pad, but you can also get incredible depth and gloss when finishing off with a finishing pad. We use M205 on both our polishing and finishing pads, depending on what we're trying achieve, how the paint responds, etc. If you like the LC pads, then you've got a lot of choices in finishing pads, and on super delicate paint the softer the pad the better - most of the time.Michael Stoops

Re: m205 and pad selection
been using the orange light cutting pads. gonna finish up my car with a red finishing pad.
my next purchase, though, is to switch to megs pads. since all other products i use are megs, i wanna keep it that way for everything.
