Ive thought about taking the class several times.Have just never got around to it. In fact one of my customers took your class and enjoyed it !

I havent been well/strong enough to polish for several months now but hope to be back at it by summer .So maybe then, I would love to see you polish out some bad swirls with the 7"pad and DA in person!
    I prefer my 6"pad!

No I have not tried the MF pads yet and heard so many good things ! would love to try it out!!
If you can make it up on a Thursday Night we'll put the system in your hands and let you play with it on a car in need of some TLC. Hopefully your recovery will be speedy and we can see you up here sometime soon. You're welcome any time!

        That's .... I'm speechless ..

You know, that is completely understandable! We've read so many times that Audi paint is some of the hardest, most unforgiving paint out there. We've also read that that late model 3 Series BMWs with non metallic black paint is super easy to work on because it responds so quickly to even fairly mild products.

But that particular Audi TT most definitely did NOT have crazy hard paint - not even close. Nor did the S5 we worked on just a couple of weeks prior. Both were a piece of cake to correct with just a DA, W8207 and UC. But that "really easy to work on" 3 Series paint? Well, once again, surprise!!!! The hardest paint yours truly has ever encountered happened to be on one of those - the write up is here. All three cases just go to show that no matter what you read about paint hardness or softness on a forum, you never know exactly how the car in front of you is going to behave until you start working on it. Those two Audis were pleasant surprises. The BMW, not so much!!!

UC on a polishing pad will be able to tackle most (key word most) paint save for the one Mike did is his writeup.

It still boggles my mind that that Black BMW gave you a hard time. Like Mike said you can read all you want and listen to what people say but thats only 50% of the equation. The other half is putting the pad to paint and see first hand where you can get with product on hand.
